maybe our favorite show this season. i was not to sure how they would keep the show fresh after a great ending to the first season, but this story line keeps us on the edge of our seats! can't wait for each new episode.

i think that the 'bay harbor butcher' story might go into nect season with a cool cliff hanger at the end of this one. it just seems to me that there is still too many loose ends to clean up in the couple of episodes left in season 2.

what do you guys think?

If you guys like the series XM Scott got me hooked on the books. The 1st book follows the season perfect. The 2nd book there is some stuff from the 2nd season in the book, but they are totally different, and back in Sept the 3rd book came out.

This season is not as good as last, but I still enjoy it. Better then all the crap on Network tv.

I missed the first season when it ran, but Netflixed it when it came out on DVD and loved it. So now I'm hooked, and catch it on demand during the week (Sunday nights are Adult Swim nights). There isn't a single bad actor in that show, and Julie Benz is phenomenal.

I was hoping that this thread would pick up after the finale, but maybe it just needs a bump. What did y'all think?

I was a little disappointed with the end of this season. Seems like they wrote themselves into a corner and just wiped the slate clean at the end.

I wish they would have found a way to keep Doakes alive. Could have led to some cool stuff if he decided to keep letting Dexter do his thing.

I'm glad they killed off Lila. She was fucking hot, but that plot line just got aggrevating.

I have high hopes for the 3rd season. We should be getting an uninhibited Dexter. He's starting all over again with no rules. They got close to jumping the shark on this one, so I hope they come back hardcore.

I think it was a great season, but the first one was just so cool. This season seemed to be a growing season where they developed more characters and created a good set up for the third season.

Also, how do you create a spoiler tag. It looks like someone did it for me, but all I did was the warning.

does deb get to DC with lundy? and what is the killer up there? maybe dex goes with deb and gets involved solving or finds someone he feels he needs to kill? maybe they follow the story line about ritas kids and dex? is la guerta going to give up or continue to uncover truths about doakes and how he can't be the killer? what about dex's tools that lila took? how did she fly whith them to paris? what did she do with them if not? what about her body turning up? will dex be contacted when they find her, since he was her emergency contact when she was in the hospital?

Wow. You have paid attention. A lot of good points. I was thinking that they were whitewashing it, but there could be some lingering things from this season. I hope they can take a cool turn of events somehow. I really want someone to find out about him and be cool with it. I was hoping it would be Doakes or even Lundy.

Also, I don't think that they have come out and said that Harry is Dexter's real dad. They sure the fuck hinted at it all season, but I don't know why they wouldn't reveal it. Maybe that will lead into some weird shit for next season.

I did too, but I ended up liking Lundy. The relationship is still odd, but when I'm that old, I hope I can score a young, skinny, foul-mouthed, alien-eyed, girl too.
