View Full Version : How do I ignore forums?

As pathetic as it is since I'm a mod on other boards, I can't seem to figure out how to ignore a forum all together. The 55-gallon drum has been ridiculous today with threads that maybe 10 members of the board will get, and I'm sick of seeing them when I hit new posts. How do I ignore this forum? I checked under User CP but couldn't find anything.. help!

I actually did study HMK's tutorial back in the day, and have to say it was rather helpful.

I'm not "studying" a god damn thing from a message board. That's what mods are for. Answer questions.. see above ^

Unfortunately, I don't 55 gallon drum in the list of forums to ignore.

When I go to message boards.. I click on New Posts.. most of the time I'm at work. I don't want to scroll through fifty thousand fucking posts relating to happytypingirl and her crew before I get to one that is interesting. I click NP and scroll, click NP and scroll... it's what I do at work.. since I can't leave a messageboard open on my screen. I try to be quick as possible before my boss walks by.

Fair enough - I do the same New Posts method myself. But the traffic here isn't that big that you have page after page of threads with new posts. But whatever works for you.

you guys should also use ispy. i love it during show times, especially. i'm not refreshing the page so often, and just wait to see something i wanna respond to.

sawree. i do try to keep my irritatingness contained so as not to interfere with others. i dont use the new posts thingy so i didnt know about that.

I don't think she's referring to your irritatingness but rather other peoples irritating posts that have you mentioned in the title. Just post'n!:D
