Radio isn't Working..... HELP!!

I recently bought my mother a Roady XT for her birthday. Its been working fine with no problems whatsoever until yesterday. The radio was on, playing music and everything and then suddenly it just stopped playing.

I looked at the device and it said "Loading" for about 5 minutes and then suddenly it said "no signal" which is strange because its worked fine in that area of the house since march and suddenly it cant catch a signal.

So i took the thing outside in my yard free of walls and whatnot. It got some signal, was able to play music for a little bit but had a lot of static. as soon as i moved in trough the doorway into the house it had no signal again.

I find this strange because I have an Inno and that thing works perfectly fine with no signaling problems.


Anyone have any idea as to what's going on and how i should fix it?

It's probably not the player at all - either there's some satellite difficulties or atmospheric conditions. I recall a few months ago I couldn't get a workable signal for a day or two because of some maintenance issues. Try it again later, or tomorrow.

You pinched the antenna wire somehow and ruined the wire. Either way, it's the antenna.

its not the antenna because i switched it with the antenna i use for my inno and it did the same thing. I dunno, we'll see how it is in a few days

I doubt this will work since it seems to be a signal issue, but I think it is worth a shot.

i refreshed it too, doesnt work cuz i cant get a signal for it to refresh... lol

It’s probably the receiver, the new roady xt sucks ass. My old xt got stolen from my car and the new one I bought pretty much got thrown in the corner.

If it doesn’t start working call customer service and get it replaced if it’s under warranty, or get a better unit if it’s not.

Hate to see someone have a problem with something they gave as a gift, hope it all works out.

My Myfi is fucked up...but only when I have it plugged into the car. It says "antenna". I guess maybe I broke the antenna or some annoying shit like that.

That is the antenna. It is either not connected correctly or it is broke.
