I believed Po when he said that they always team up on people.. it's pretty obvious that they do. Maybe Po felt that sending an e-mail was the only option. Because if I worked with someone that had the same attitude as Danny, the last thing I'm going to do is approach him to try to work out a problem. It's obvious that he doesn't respect him. So I would go right over his head. Fuck em.

Thats the main thing that led me to Po's side. Po is the hired muscle, not part of the radio show really. Not saying they should have catered to him b/c of inexperience, but they should have cut him some slack.

Never to me, I actually have had pleasant interaction with him. I can say he's nice. I just dont respect the snitching....

I think they're both at fault here...

1) Danny has shown that he might take his authority too far. by that i mean he'll talk down to people he works with and makes wise cracks when an issue is trying to be resolved, not to mention talk over them. So with Po being a ll nervous about his first show ever, you don't choose to bring up a problem 5 minutes before hsi show starts. wait until after to mention it.

2) Po, as physically tough and skilled as he may be, doesn't have thick skin. I'm sure he will down the line, but he should not have yelled. Just keep your cool and wal kaway and talk about it later.

First off, Po is wrong for not settling stuff in house. In fact he's a little bitch, but I'd say Po was right in the argument.

1. Danny knew in advance a large crowd was showing up for Po's show.

2. Danny was in appropriate for attempting to scold Po in front of the guests instead of private.

3. There have been felons in the studio before with a lot less capable security available.

4. Danny lied about being incident free on the Saturday Night Virus. Wasn't there a problem a few weeks ago with alcohol, and I know Danny loves his alcohol, and the building during the High Society radio program?

Danny was right - there's video, and even if there's no audio, you can tell when someone is screaming at you just by facial expressions. Second, I hate corporate rats who need to tell EVERY higher-up EVERYTHING bad that's happened, Po is security FIRST and then whatever second. You deal with personal beef's with the person you have the issue with, not run with your tail between your legs to corp ... What's an Exec Producer of a weekend program timeslot going to do to a one time - only time 1 hour show who's the companies security to that office. Shitty move on Po's part for being a rat

Its Steve's fault. PERIOD.. when Steve asked po how many people were coming and got a decent answer of around 30 . That information should have been sent directly to Danny. Just because Po may not be the brightest crayon in the box doesn't mean he did do his part to what he thought was right. Bottom line is there was knowledge of how many people are going to be there and it is know by the higher ups. It is there job to fill in those that work for them . IE Danny.

I think Po, Danny, and Steve are all wrong.....

1) Danny knew in advance that a crowd was coming (his own words). If he was so concerned he should have said something to Po before Saturday night. Even if he did not plan it that way... he effectively ambushed Po in front of his friends and guest. A very shitty way of doing things.

2) Steve should have told Po he needed to talk to Danny. It is no secret that if something had gone wrong... Danny would have been the one to suffer. Additionally, this was Po's first show... Steve should have been helping Po to pull it together.

3) Po did not consider his role had changed Saturday night. He was no longer security... He was on air talent. He should have explained his alternative security plans to Kenny... May be even arranged for Kenny to be in the office. Additionally, Po should have found another way to address his issue other than sending the email or yelling back at Danny. It was a shitty thing to do... and nothing good ever comes from emailing when your pissed off.

If I was there boss... I would chew all of them out for acting like a bunch of ten year olds and not being able to solve there personal issues with each other.

another way to look at it is the way i work. In this instance if im the head guy (Steve) or Danny even, i would have sent Po a generic email on what he needs to do for SNV. A simple SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) on what he needs to do before a show. as in ... How many guests for the audience? .. What guests are you bringing .... Just a bunch of dumb shit that covers all your bases and keeps shit from happening out of nowhere. At that point you just follow up with those you leave in charge to run the show and make sure that everything is in order PRIOR to Saturday.

Something tells me this goes WAY deeper then a few guests. There were several verbal clues on both sides that Po doesn't like the idea of having to report anything to Danny. He said "he talked to Steve" and refered to Bruce (i think) as his "real boss." Danny is young and trying to establish himself as a leader in the Saturday night programing. (Opie refered to him as the PD of Saturday night) I think there is tension there because Po doesn't like reporting to Danny.

I'm most annoyed at Steve. He threw Danny under the bus on air saying that "I told you there were going to be a lot of people." Steve as the "bigger boss" should have looked at the entire situation subjectivly and figured out where the comunication broke down. Then established a SOP for who approves guests on Saturday night.

All statements above are strickly IMHO based on limited information gathered through on air conversation. In other words I'm just a dumb douchbag injecting my opinion in everyone elses business.

Danny sounded like a douchebag, especially when he started arguing with Po re: "So you brought them into the facility to interview them to determine if they were safe to bring into the facility?"

Somebody should have bitch slapped him then, but Po said he had no plans of laying a hand on him, so Po's even that much cooler in my book.

I don't think Danny and Steve were completely innocent, but Po was clearly 100% wrong. Po should have followed the chain of command. Before writing any email to the higher ups, he should have first talked to Danny after the show to sort shit out, then from there you go to Steve and then O&A, not an email to the execs.

I'm disappointed in Master Po. Someone with his background doesn't understand the chain of command on last Saturday night, really needs to take a look in the mirror. Danny was the point person for XM, which means Danny gets blamed for everything that happens at that time. Po needs to relearn the chain of command before he teaches anyone else the martial arts. He's another big headed shit-dick like the 17 year old managers you see at McDonalds getting their jollies(yes I said jollies, deal with it!) by bossing every one around. "BOO HOO! He should have come to me, not Steve!! I'M the boss on weekends! Waaahhh!!!" He even said that he didn't care if that many people came, It was the fact that Po didn't come shufflin up to him, hat in hand, saying "Scuze me, boss. I sho' would be obliged if'n you could hep me out wit dis here prolum I's got."

You give some people a rope and they think they're a fucking cowboy. He gets put in charge of a nearly empty studio, working the night shift, on WEEKENDS, and suddenly he's the fucking Godfather. wants to wet his beak a little. Bullshit, go home and get your fucking shine box!!!

I just hate martial artists who think they should be so respected because they know how to fight. I'm not saying I would win in a fight against a great martial artist, but I was/a, a really ood amateur wrestler, and wrestlers can hold their own against black belts but you never see wrestlers act as if they deserve some inherent respect. Po isn't some hugely important fighter. This whole thing annoyed me just because in the radio world Danny deserves more respect than Po.

Danny also set the whole thing up to begin with and gave him time. When you are in radio world, don't expect everyone to treat you like you are important. Don't get me wrong, anyone who is good at what they do deserves respect in their field, but I felt like Po thinks he is better than people because of his fighting ability. Danny was right.

The way I heard it, this whole thing started because Danny's ego was bruised because Po emailed Steve instead of him. Danny admitted that Steve passed on the info, so Danny knew early enough to react. He was simply whining because Po didn't give him the respect to tell him directly. :cry:

OK, here's what NONE of you seem to understand. The only reason Steve knew ANYTHING in the FIRST place was becuase I had heard rumors of a SHITLOAD of people coming upstairs. I made the initial contact to Steve saying, hey man, this is what i'm hearing, you'd better check it out. Maybe you should relisten to the whole segment ... Danny is the EP of SNV. Here'sa quick recap: there was a misunderstanding the week before with too many guests up. Po knew this. Now Danny got an email from steve saying how many people are coming up Danny asked him to ask PO how many people he had coming up. Regardless of Steve getting involved, Steve is not there on Saturdays .... Po should have contacted Danny .... besides the fact it was unnessecary to have that many people up for an hour show.

I give Po respect for not punching the cocky fucker. Po constantly gets ripped on and always maintains. Lets not forget the time he whooped that Howard fag that assaulted the boys on the walk over. And as for the guests...shouldn't Danny have inquired further as to who would be on the show? Producer?? Program manager??? Either way, it was RADIO GOLD!

The way I heard it, this whole thing started because Danny's ego was bruised because Po emailed Steve instead of him. Danny admitted that Steve passed on the info, so Danny knew early enough to react. He was simply whining because Po didn't give him the respect to tell him directly. :cry:
