From insideradio.com

Hoping to lure back lapsed subscribers, XM is offering three months of free service. Starting Friday, anyone with an inactive XM radio purchased at a retail location can get the free service regardless of when the receiver was purchased. The catch? They have to reactive their subscription by December 31. XM hopes once they're back in the fold, they'll remain subscribers.

I would... but my skyfi2 is still active :/ I canceled in august of 2006, and put it on a shelf for a year. When I went to resell it, i realized it still worked. apparently keeping it not plugged in for 12 months means it never got the signal to deactivate.

Im not saying I feel RIGHT about having it in this state, but I'm certainly not going to sell it to anyone else if it still works.
