Has Anyone Ever Met The Boys, or Any Frequent Guest

I never met Opie Anthony, or Jimmy, but I did e mail Jimmy a few times, and he always responds. It amazes me how accessable all three of them are considering their fame. I think that's what makes the show so popular, and that's what makes us fans so hard core.

I went to the walkover one day last year and up to the studio to watch the show. After the show, we hung around and took pics. They were all really cool and nice to the fans. I have only seen Ronnie B and Fez at an event or 2, but didn't want to bother them while they were mingling and doing their thing. I was on ESDs softball team for a game this year and he was really a nice guy and just like he is on the show.

I've met the boys and others at the walkover and a couple of events.
I made Anthony laugh at the Camden tailgate when I told him that it would have been a great bit to have Flea, with his fake ID, thrown out of the TLA when during the Car Crash Comedy in Philly. It would have been funnier than Flea's "stand up". Then I believe it was either Mike or Keith that attempted to rip the ID up.
I was at the Borgata last New Years and was having a conversation with No Filter Paul and Mike (from Wackbag). Both Dawn and Fat Opie was there too. I never noticed that Opie and Lynsey were standing to my right until Wackbagette told me. They were just two people in the conversation. How cool was that.
When Norton did the Borgata with Dave Atell, my friend tossed his hat on stage so Jimmy could do the infamous "no chin profile". After the show we had laughs and got him to sign the hat.
I purchased Bill Burr's CD after a show at Helium in Philly. I got him to sign it. When he was finished signing it he dropped a Sharpie and we both bent over to pick it up simultaneously. We slammed heads. His forehead was all sweaty from being under the lights. Its was both gross and awkward.
I met both Ronnie and Fez at ESD's bachelor party. Afterwards, Mater Po gave me and my friend a ride to Bar 9. He's a lot less intimidating when he's drinking Bacardi.
Lastly, JerseyGirl was nice enough to take a pic of me and Bobby Kelly after a PAC Rally at CBS. He called me sweetie. YUCK!

I met all 3 at both of the traveling virus shows I went to. (Last year in Cleveland and this year in Detroit). They really are the coolest guys, just funny and down to earth ( to use the same cliche everyone is using). I also met Pat from Moonachie and No Filter Paul at the Cleveland show.
The day before the Detroit show, we went to Lil Jimmy's book signing at Borders and met Keith the Cop (who was hilarious) and I saw Lindsey but didn't talk to her.
Then after the Detroit show Melinda stood and talked with me, my friend and JaJa for like 20-30 minutes and was just really nice. I felt special (I'm not) because she recognized my name from paltalk. I really am starved for attention.

At the traveling Virus tour last year in Cleveland. They did a live broadcast the morning before. It was pretty amazing how EVERYONE was so approachable and willing to talk. Vos is awesome. My favorite picture was taken with him. There was nothing fake about any of them. No Filter Paul was on fire. He had everyone laughing non-stop the whole day.
We even went to a local pub right after the radio show with alot of the staff.
They were all just as cool the next day for the concert. I hope they come back to Cleveland next year. Not for a virus tour, just to broadcast for the day.

I think I might have the best story for this thread.
My wife and I met Anthony at Mohegan Sun the night before the 2007 traveling virus show. I was the guy that sat next to Ant at the blackjack table and witnessed him win $50,000.
I saw Anthony & Danny sitting at the $25 blackjack table at around 11pm, so I sat next to Danny. They were both being potty mouths and they almost got kicked off the table by the pit boss when I first sat down, it was hilarious. After about 3 hours at the table, Ant walked away with over $50K, and I turned $100 into $1400. It was one of the the most incredible nights ever. Drinking, laughing, winning, more drinking, more winning.
After Danny lost all of his chips, Anthony started playing 2 spots, betting the max of $1000 on each and $500 on match the dealer, hitting when you should stay, tipping the dealer $100's when he'd win big, it was unbelievable. There were times he had over $5000 on the table after doubling down and would win both hands. Ant even high fived me when I won a big hand after listening to his advise... yes he was very drunk. We were all so messed up that noone even noticed Opie had been standing behind Ant watching for a while. At one point Anthony doubled-down on a 12 when the dealer was showing a 4 and won, and these 3 stupid women were all upset that if he had stayed like he was supposed to they would have won. He said "ahhh shut up" and threw them $100 chips each which did shut them up - classic Ant! The pit bosses were freaking out as Anthony kept taking all of their $1000 chips, it was so fun to be a part of, I'll never forget it.
An advantage of hanging with a famous rich person - a dedicated waitress so a stream of beer was coming every few minutes, thanks to Anthony's huge tips. What a fun weekend!
It was one of those magical nights that happens once in a lifetime.
I also met Jimmy at his book signing in Boston, and went to all of the virus shows in MA and CT and saw them broadcast from Bill's Bar in Boston where Ant crowned me the Retarded Taylor Hicks.

I met Jimmy at the Cellar a few years ago. He used to hit on my exGF online when we were together. It was kind of odd, not of Jimmy, but that she seemed to like it. I mean I guess I would if I was a girl too. He is a funny guy.

Thats right, I forgot I met Club Soda Kenny at Jimmy's book signing in Detroit the day before the virus show...he was exactly like he is on the show in person, just yelling at people to line up and doting over the bbboys. I also met a lot of the comedians at the two traveling virus shows.

Met O&A on two occasions, both were very nice. Talked to Jimmy several times at his shows and was always friendly. Also met Bill Burr, who was hysterical to talk with. He started telling me about what he felt was his "strangest" experience in studio (at the time). It was when they had the one guy in studio who said he heard voices so they left him alone in the studio and just talked to him through the headphones to mess with him. Bill said he was very odd. Bob Kelly gave my friend a good smashing after a show one night too.
Everyone I've meet that is associated with the show in one way or another has been very approachable and friendly.

The first time I met O&A I was on the show back at WNEW when Spaz tried opening a safe. I supplied the safe that Spaz attempted to open and was interviewed by Anthony on air. Since then, I've been to the Cellar several times to see Lil Jimmy, went to the signing at Tower Records for Lil Jimmy, went to the party at Bo Diddy's on 42nd st.,have been in on a few pest operations, and attended the first softball game at a park in Westchester where Master Po and his dog appeared. (Ok, who really cares about the last one? I don't even care)

I met Jimmy at a show in Poughkeepsie - someone called in about it the next Monday because CSK had to toss a drunk chick out. She was sitting right up front as close as you could be to the stage. She kept turning to her husband to tell him how not funny Jimmy was. Jimmy tried to be cool about it for the husband's sake, since he was a fan, but she just wouldn't shut up. Kenny eventually came and got rid of her, and half the place did their CSK "thank you" impression afterwards.
I saw madbam from wackbag and JJJester from FBA there for that show, too.
Here's me about 80 pounds ago from that night:

Opie lives in the same neighborhood where I work. I've spotted and met him a few times during my lunch breaks, once he was with Lindsey. They were both very very nice and cool. Keep in mind I did not try to bother them for a long time, although they never seemed to be hurried. I usually just do a quick hi and respect his/their time/space. I don't want to be that guy.
Lindsey is soooo naturally beautiful. No make up needed.
I've seen Jimmy on the streets of NYC a few times. He's always really really nice and gracious.
I also spotted R&F&ESD on the street once. They were all incredibly nice and cool.
I saw Earl on the subway once. I was like 'hey Earl!'. He jumped like he saw a ghost. hahaha. It was in the evening and he had his camera.
I've done the walk over a couple times, too. Good times.

I've met Danny, who's real cool (during Homeless Shopping Spree - Palisades Mall), Master Po (outside during the walkover) and have e-mailed Steve a shitload of times with stuff for the show. Almost every time he's responded and been pretty cool, despite what they say about him hating fans, he's been receptive, thankful, and polite. His e-mail responses reeked of perfect diction though. Yecchh.
