Um, you need to download a newer version of one of the video programs, I think.

Should give an option for manual install. What is it? Flash or quicktime or something?

Sounds like you need to reinstall Flash.

CamdenLions does. From what I'm told, he posts bits of my Myspace profile everywhere, and has an altered months-old post of mine in his sig. I think he's in love with me.

for your information sir, I have always had a problem with firefox since i first downloaded the thing. It always gives me that pop up saying i am missing plug-ins. And I've only encountered this problem when I decided to get a Vista Based OS on my laptop.

i dont want to intsall random "plug-ins" that i do not know what they are. I have also been using a mac for the past 6 years and forgot how to do things on a Windows based machine.

I do recall someone sending me a link from microsoft and i downloaded something there and firefox worked fine. However, since the machine was restored, and repaired I lost everything.

Don't have to take it so personally lol. And as far as random plug-ins, it should say what is needed, and if your still unsure, stop viewing such a questionable site?

I mean, basically, Java, Flash, and Quicktime and you should have no problems viewing anything on the web.

its not just one particular site. Its sites like Break.com (never lets me watch the videos) or even http://pi.ytmnd.com/ (which will not let me hear the song, as annoying as it is lol)

once i get back on my HP I'll be able to give a more detailed explanation of what the pop-up thing is telling me.

FIREFOX 3.0 TIP

DISABLE FAGGOT SCANNING OF VIRUSES AFTER A DOWNLOAD

in the address bar type: about:config

Click yes, you understand you could void the warranty

in the search bar search for: Scan

The first result should be "browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone"

double click it to change it's value, and boom. You're done.

for your information sir,

If I never AGAIN saw someone call someone else "SIR" on an Opie and Anthony fanboard, it would be too soon.

I warrant the respect and dignity of being called sir.

For me, its just another "worn out" (in my opinion...) show reference.

Sir as in a KNIGHT reference, on the otherhand is fine.

I didn't even see it as a show reference, i saw, and will continue to see, it as her knowing who was boss.

There is truth in this statement.

actually, as i have said many times before. I am not a real fan. (ban/ infract me or what ever...) I do not get show references and lord knows i do not know enough about the show to even make references of my own.

i listen every now and then when i have the time. but i do not prioritize the show as an integral part of my everyday life. Sorry

what is so wrong with saying "sir" anyway?

Why would you get infracted or banned? You might get a thread started about you though.
