I can agree that no one can please 100% of the audience 100% of the time.

But for me and my girl personally, the show was must-listen to during almost the entire XM exclusive period (Oct 04 to what April 06).

I didn't know who OnA were until they went to XM. So, I have always been a fan of the XM only days. I don't think the show got worse when they went to CBS, I just think they stopped caring about the XM side so much. More XM shows discarded without a thought, but god forbid they miss a CBS show. I don't start listening to them until about 8 am, so that means I only get an hour of new radio.

O and A have set the bar high, a long time ago. Its only since they went back to FM / doing 4 1/2 hours of radio a day have they not been living up to their own legacy.

this taking off whenever is getting out of hand. One day theres an XM side, one day there isn't. They take off early from XM one day, one day they don't. Meetings blah blah blah. The people scheduling these meeting know they have a show they put on from 9-12. YES 12! They bullshitted us into thinking "nothing is going to change". It's simply not true. Things are VERY different when it was XM only.

Well, I know nothing of the NEW days and was introduced to OnA as soon as they went free on XM and actually cared about XM. So, what they used to do on NEW means nothing to me.

And I am trying to remember too when the last complaint call was but it's not in my OnA daily caller storage in my brain.

Never before the XM exclusive time period would people (that I remember, and correct me if I'm wrong) call in and give their message board handle instead of real name.... at least not consistantly, and to the point where it DWARFED people actually giving their real names when calling.

the point is they were on XM before going back on FM. We subscribed thinking we would get a 4 hour show with little to no rules. Not saying i wanted dildo machine gun being fired at a room full of strippers, just that it's better to no they could if they wanted to at any moments notice.

Plain and simple, the XM show is different. There is no way you can say that it isn't. FM takes priority over XM. When's the last time they skipped the FM side and went to XM? exactly.

Fuck the celebrity interviews. It hasn't panned out. The few times it did, it was for shit movies and it wasn't anything spectacular. The guests comes in and answers setup questions. The B and C list celebs are better and do XM. So fuck the exposure on FM, it's bullshit. 18+ million subscribers soon, that's a damn good place to start with a new company that's lets you get away with more.

very good post 360 you are right about the old NEW bits, they got them with the original FM deal, also the virus shows were sponsored by the FM stations, without them there would have been no tour. also people seem to forget that the XM show changed after the homeless charlie suspension. honestly it's look more and more that the boys will be off XM at this point. i just really wonder why people really listen if they dont enjoy it. I dont get why people put so much energy into not liking something, wouldnt it be more simple to just cut out things from your life that you dont enjoy?

(you know, no sound, but pad data was working) it has happened in the past. maybe super agent bob called with news about the contract that required immediate attention. im not sure mel would simply wait for the show to be over if he wanted a answer immediately. we know this, because they have had meetings at sirus when this all started at 11ish. or who knows maybe they did leave early and say screw this were going home early. who knows, but why get all bent outa shape.
