View Full Version : Quick Question. Who should I start?

I am going into week 2 of a 2 week round of playoffs in fantasy baseball. I am down 20 points. I have one pitching slot left unfilled. It is between 2 players; Joe Blanton with 2 starts (tonight @ home vs. Fl and Sat @ home vs. Mil) or Doug Davis (Ari) with one start (Tues @ SF) I have until the games start tonight to submit my roster then it is final for the week. I am leaning towards Blanton b/c he has 2 starts and the Marlins and Brewers are both slumping and will be on the road.

Usually, but if he gets lit up twice it is twice as bad. I am probably going with Blanton though. I just looked up his stats and it looks decent enough where it is worth the risk.

Id go with Blanton. As long as Blanton isnt pitching against Was. They seem to beat the crap out of him. Plus he is pitching both games at home. His ERA at CIT Bank is in the low 3's. Which is awesome considering that park is a hitters park.

Blantons been pretty solid for us, and will go for 7 innings consinstantly. He's not a bad start. i'd go blanton

That's the stat I just looked up which sold it for me. I hope karma shines on me this week since it shit in my mouth yesterday with Tom Brady.

Blanton it is. I hope the Phillies go 2-5 this week with the 2 wins being Blantons one of which is a No Hitter.

Dude don't sweat it. When I ask these questions I have an idea in my head what I am going to do, I just post them out to get some conversation going and to see if anyone brings up anything I haven't thought of. The trade would have been great, but his knee fell off.

Good deal. I ahve access to a bunch of sites for work. So have no problem helping u out. As long as its not RGF league. lol. Then all bets are off. haha
