Who would be your choice

Sarah Michelle Gellar or Megan Fox?

Or do you have a better choice?

Of the two, I'd choose Sarah Michelle Gellar. She has more experience in strong female roles (and can act). However, if I were to pick the perfect Lois Lane, I would have to say Selma Blair.

Good call on Selma Blair.

Exactly. She's dark-haired, very attractive, has proven she can play tough and severe roles without necessarily being bitchy. If I were making a Superman film, I'd cast her in a second.

Lois Lane = Megan Fox. That chick is so hot. First of all Sarah Michelle Gellar is a blonde. Lois Lane was not a blonde. Bad choice. Lois Lane should be played by a Conservative kinda gal like Katie Holmes (too safe) or a brunette Scarlett Johansson (now that would be hot).

Megan Fox is far too young and can't act. There is no forcefulness or strength to her whatsoever. She's hot, yeah, but she'd be as believable a Planet star reporter as a porn chick in glasses would be as a scientist.

Plus, I believe SMG is a brunette naturally. So pbblt. ;)

Yeah you are correct about Megan Fox; but SMG can't act either. Lois Lane should be played by an "innocent" type of character but also pretty as well. It all depends on who Superman will be played by. Selma Blair is good but she is also an "older" character. The role should be played by someone like an Anne Hathaway type.

Sorry guys... I am really bringing out the chick in me tonight! So I will shut up now.

No need to shut up; it's a discussion. :D

I suppose it depends on which era Lois you want to cast. Lois in the 30s-60s was kind of a wilting flower who depended on Superman for just about everything and seemed to be perpetually kidnapped by humongous robots. From the 70s on through the present, Lois has become an increasingly strong and independent character, oftentimes stubbornly so. Fiercely competitive and jealously protective of her lofty position within a male-dominated field. She's risen through the ranks, which is why she'd need to be in her 30's.

Now shaddap, dame. ;)
