WOW. This is I think the 3rd break for him the first hr. He talks for about 50 min out of an hr. Definitely a lot different then when he was on FAN. They had the stupid 20 flashes.

I caught like 5 minutes today. He was talking about getting picked up from the train by his wife. I do agree with what he said about Sheets though, how can you call yourself a big game pitcher then turn the ball over to someone else when your season is on the line b/c of a little discomfort. Fuck Ben Sheets he should have pitched.

WB - Sheets has done that twice in a month. He got taken out 3-4 weeks ago in the 5 inning. With that same soreness. Yet was joking around in the dugout the following inning.
I was laughing at Dogs train story. I had that same problem when I moved back here. I couldnt get a parking pass. So had my gf pick me for the first 2 months.

If I was "the go to pitcher" and I had to be taken out of a game at this point in the season I would not be laughing and joking around in the dugout, I would be pissed. I would have to have a broken arm or something along those lines to come out of a game at this point in the season.

Do you have to be a die hard sports fan to enjoy mad dogs show? Or can you be entertained by it if you watch pretty much zero sports (save maybe for some mma and boxing)?
Would like to try Russo out, but just curious.

I'm sure I could get into the Yankee Stadium talk as it has historical significance.
Speaking of that, is the new Yankee Stadium going to be called "yankee stadium" or is it going to have some cheesy ass Corporate Sponsorship and get to be called something stupid like the "Molly's Cupcakes Stadium" etc?

It will be called yankee stadium. They will be naming the streets inside the stadium. Bank of America is rumored to be one of the companies in the bidding. They would never go that route and have a corp sponsor the stadium name.

I mean like EVERY other arena has done it. Even The Theater at Madision Square Garden is now the "WaMu Theater at Madision Square Garden." I'm sure MSG will be next.
Everybody has a price. We just haven't seen what the Yankees price is yet.
Give them several more terrible seasons and if they see their merch sales dry up the incentive will be there.

Nahh. I cants ee it happening with them. They make a TON from YES. Plus will be making a ton from the new luxury boxes and new ticket prices. As for the merch. I really can't see that drying up anytime soon. Plus with revenue sharing. The teams only get to keep the merch $$ on items sold in the stadium and within 200 feet of the stadium. All the other merch gets thrown into the pot and is split between the teamms via the revenue sharing plan.
One other note. The Bank of America deal with the yankees. Is rumored to be close to the same dollar amount a yr as the Mets stadium deal.
Im a bit of a diehard sports fan noi. Plus work in sports. So sorry if I went on information overload.
