I don't think Opie should ever quit. Neither should the other 2...I need good radio for many years still.

Opie will not quit.
If he did would it be the Jimmy and Anthony show or the Anthony and Jimmy show?

How would quiting bother Management, I mean what would it show them? To management everybody is expedible. All they care bout is keeping sponsers happy and keep the cash flow coming. .
Thats just my opinion though.

yes but if opie quits chances are the program formaally knowns as OandA would stop having a show in any form. I honestly do not see the show without Opie.
If that happens we would all have to cancel our xm radios in protest. then management will either care because of lose of money or be glad because management does not want headaches.
Why else do you think most radio show suck? Its because most are playing it safe. Very management friendly.

Opie is too passionate about his job to quit over this. Just him being pissed about it all shows how much he cares.
He was just venting IMO.

I am finally hearing the audio from yesterdays show from West Palm.
It is making me so angry. I could see them walkign away from terrestrial over this, but I think theyll stick with XM if anything.

I wouldn't miss him on the show... Ant and the 3rds make all the funny anyway...
Now if they were to try and replace him with some dimwitted hole, then I'd be pissed.

You would miss him. Opie is a radio genius. Over the years I have realized how much he does for the show, it wouldn't be anywhere near as good without him. I think Opie is the most important member of the show even though he is the least funny.

'cuz on air he just seems to be regurgitating rather than creating... but that's just me, and I don't feel so strongly about it that I'm looking for a fight or anything...
And don't get me wrong, I do recognize he has his moments -- the Bikini-tini discussion comes to mind, I remember getting a hearty chuckle for it. :)

Dude are you insane? Most bits come from the genius of Ope. All behind the scenes is him. Opie IS O&A

I just mean every idea comes from Opie, Ant and Jimmy are the comedians but Opie is the brains.

heh heh - maybe he should just stay behind the scenes then ;)
I'm just fooling around - although that proposition of Ron and Anthony sounds intriguing.
But yeah, I speak purely from an on-air perspective - I have no knowledge of what goes on in planning.
