How about a stricted penalty for drunk drivers. My buddy got 2 DUIs and each time he was out within a day. Maybe making some jail time mandatory would reduce the risk, vice putting the responsibility on someone else.

But that's the thing, Wes. If you're there for eight hours and have, say 9 beers and eat wings, a sandwich and some cheese fries, are you really drunk? Maybe legally you're drunk, but you're not really drunk.
I know it's hard to argue FOR drinking and driving, but the new laws are nonsense.

I feel your pain. I lived out of NY for the last 7 years and had to do that every week. Some days were pretty dicey, especially having to drive through tunnels.
