Should this site have changed its name?

Most sites lose their appeal when things change either too soon or too often. People hear about a site, check it out, and learn the sites name, then suddenly they are told to change everything. THis is why other O&A R&F related sites have had bad luck (Frrrrrrunkis, for example) Just wanted to state my opinion, knowing it will have little effect on those in charge of the site, but maybe if they listen to the people who help MAKE their site, they will consider others opinions for future changes. Hope this site continues for a while

i tried typing in the new name and I get that error screen and need to type the original name anyway. I fear that soon both addresses won't work and the site will be dead. I still say it was a stupid idea changing the name. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

marketing 101 suggests changing the name so soon after the initial launch is a bad move, however if the change is done early enough and thus re-pushed with references / plugs / callers mentioning it on both shows then the damage can be minimized to a degree where it wont matter

Both names point here. It was done recent, so it is possible that the new name has not propagated to all the DNS servers in the world. This usually takes up to 48 hours but I have seen it take longer. It is possible some people can only connect with the old name currently.
