View Full Version : Four more months??

Did anyone else catch what Opie said a couple of days ago when they had to dump out on the toolbox who was telling his "cougar" story?
The doosh kept saying blowjob, and when they dumped out on him, Opie said, " how many more months of this do we got, like four"?. Anthony said yes.
The boys CBS contract is up in about four months, Right?

As much as that may suck for them, I enjoy the XM side 10 times more than the watered down a la FCC portion.

I only listen to them on Xm, it's the only way. FM sucks.

can you blame Opie having to deal with this castrating business...I think he should just open an Opweiser and relax

I agree with every single post in this thread. loller re: Opweiser
It would REALLY suck for me if they left XM. I'd probably just go back to listening to CDs.

I only listen on XM. I don't even think I could listen in the SF bay area. When they were off XM for that month I found a station out of Las Vegas that I listened to online.

I enjoy the XM show. But it is not safe for work. If they do go back to XM only, I hope they still pull in the guest they have during the CBS show.

XM Fans = Real fans
I don't think that's true sir. I've always been an XM fan and listened to the boys on XM, but there are plenty of diehard fans who listen on regular radio and can't afford XM.
And, as to the topic of not liking FM and liking XM better, I like everything the boys do, and although the XM side can be better to listen to because the boys can say whatever they want, they do a lot of the "big events" over at CBS, so more people can hear it, so I listen to it for that among other things too.

I got Direct TV and XM in the wife's car. I got rid of my MiFi after they suspended the boys and now download the show everyday to my IPod, even coming home every lunch to get those files I might have missed in the morning.
My point is I'm not particularly a fan of XM, even though things seem to be going well right now. I don't see how this merger benefits The BBBoys or their fans. So the verdict is still out till XM take care of the show. I have to say being able to pause FF or REW the show when ever you want is the best way I've ever listened. You should try it. Specially if you're self employed contractor like me!

The CBS contract is up in April, I believe. They started on FM in April 2006 and signed a two-year contract. I honestly can't see them re-signing with KROCK after all they've been through. I'm not going to engage in any speculation as to what happens after that. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

the XM / Sirius merger may play a key into the re-signing or not with terrestrial radio in any form

With all the CBS stations dropping them i would bet they are done once the contract is up.... fine by me XM is more gooder

heh heh, I got a little mixwd up in all the "sir" talk, and I'm not sure that the guy who I thought I agreed with is the most logical... But I will tell you I think this whole "merger" talk is a bunch of bullshit, and anyone who mentions it as a reason for them to consider re-upping with terrestrial is a douche...
..sorry watson.

I think you would have to agree they do the "big events" on the FM side because they HAVE to. If they were on XM only, the guests would remain the same, possibly better, because they could focus only on the guests and not the events.

I actually think they'll renew their contract when it is up, just because they are still big in a few major markets, and CBS doesn't have a ton of options, but it sucks they can't do the kind of radio they want to anymore on FM.

Apparently we are not allowed to say PB&JPB&J anymore. WTF is going on around here. Doesn't PB&JPB&J see that this is a positive site for PB&JPB&J. I mean, PB&JPB&J could stand to gain a lot by allowing this site to continue with the PB&JPB&J promotion. Those people at PB&JPB&J are douches sometimes. This whole world is fucked by liberal douches that are worried about liability! PB&JPB&J is great for the bbbbboys. But PB&JPB&J is still PB&JPB&J, and I can't wait until this post gets deleted! I just got confused by my own post. I thought I worte PB&JPB&J radio and I now see that I did write PB&JPB&J radio as I quote myself. Nice trick but I wonder if it will catch oidar mx? Oh well so now why don't we just call it SHIT radio!
I love SHIT radio. They have so much more freedom on SHIT radio. They can use all the great words that most everybody uses everyday like SHIT, FUCK, HO, NIGERIA, and KUNT. (LL)

... More speculation from an uninformed douche... ME!:)
If I got my shit right... XM Owns the show in it's current form. CBS pays XM to broadcast it. At least that's the way I remember it. Perhaps, with the merger, the little doggie may not want to share it's content. That means, The boys would have to do Sattelite exclusively or sit out until their contract is up.
As to which show's better... I like the guests they get because of CBS and Roland. Bit, I'm really pissed about the (lack of a) homeless shopping spree this year. So, Fuck CBS, Fuck Tom, Fuck the mayor of Boston, and Fuck Condi.... Um, Never mind...
